About Us

About Us

Our mission is to provide our students with more than just dance classes, but a unique experience in which our pupils can grow both mentally & physically as a performer. Our teachers have a wealth of experience in teaching & performing various styles.

We are unlike any other school where we offer Dance & Musical Theatre classes which includes our very own Performance Prep class.

This class is where pupils learn & get involved with what happens backstage of a production- eg. Lighting, Costume, Script Writing, Making Props & Scenery.

 Your Principals

Perform in Motion's Principals, Miss Amy & Miss Brya, have been friends since 2007 and have performed together in many productions from pantomimes to cabarets, and everything in between. Most recently, they played the notorious duo Mungojerrie & Rumpleteaser in

Andrew Lloyd-Webber's CATS with the Margate Operatic Society in 2019.

They were nicknamed “Show Twins” after they and their friends around them noticed that they are very similar in how they dance & approach choreography, and were always finding themselves dancing opposite one another as ‘bookends’ on stage!

Miss Amy & Miss Brya have both been teaching for over 10 years, so they have a wealth of experience in teaching and performing

various styles & disciplines.
